Hands-on Learning in a Time of Social Distancing

News 2 min read

Today marks our 18th day of social distancing and the transition to operating a healthcare education business under social distancing measures has been incredibly challenging.

I'm sure that many of you are still navigating this new reality in your businesses much like we are. How do you even develop a contingency plan for social distancing measures when so many of your services involve face-to-face interactions?

Overnight, we had to pivot from planning the logistics and travel of live classes to transitioning all learning to a virtual environment and shifting our live schedule to later in the year. We want to provide support and flexibility during this time for our network of practitioners around the globe in hopes that we can ease the burden of uncertainty during this ever-changing new social and professional landscape we find ourselves in.

How We Can Help You

  • FREE webinars with content experts available for live attendance and recorded replays to all registrants
  • FREE downloadable resources, tips and guides to assist with marketing your practice and engaging with your patients/clients/athletes when you can be face-to-face
  • Discounted pricing on all online course offerings
  • Discounted pricing on our new Online Physiotherapy Board Review
  • FREE shipping on supplies from FAKTR-store.com through April 30th
  • We are helping instructors create and launch online courses with no up-front cost. Click here to schedule a time to chat with us about your online course.

New policies for postponed live classes

If you registered for a live course that had to be postponed due to COVID-19, you now have more options:

  • Transfer your registration to any future course. We are currently evaluating the situation and as soon as it is once again safe to hold in-person events, we will be rescheduling any missed locations/courses for dates later this year. We are not cancelling any course dates, merely rescheduling them to a time when it is once-again safe to host live courses. As a registered attendee, you will be notified as soon as rescheduled locations and dates are released.
  • Transfer your course registration the FAKTR 2020 Symposium, to be held November 6-7, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida. More details to come...
  • Extended time to transfer ticket from one year from the date of the course to a full 18-months.
  • Any pre-purchased add-ons (FAKTR instrument and/or Rehab Toolkits) will be shipped to your home on the original course date...we will reach out to you individually to coordinate.

New Virtual Class Options Available

  • The FAKTR Rehab System course will be offered online while live classes have paused due to COVID-19. Those who have registered to attend a live FAKTR Rehab System course that has been postponed due to COVID-19 will gain free access as soon as the course launches (in April) and will still retain their free seat to a live FAKTR course when classes resume. Once an attendee has completed the FAKTR course online and attended the live class, they will be FAKTR Certified (any additional online course requirements are waived).
  • The Rehab to Fitness live portion of the course (16 hrs) will be offered online while live classes have paused due to COVID-19. Those who registered to attend a live Rehab to Fitness course that has been postponed due to COVId-19 will gain free access as soon as the course launches (in April) and will retain their free seat to a live Rehab to Fitness course when classes resume.
